St. John’s Jewelers has been a family owned and operated business for over 49 years. The late Irwin Farber worked as a watchmaker on Main Street in Old Ellicott City for many years before opening his own jewelry store on route 40 in 1973. Then in 2003 Farber turned the business over to his daughter, Linda Miller. Linda is a certified Graduate Gemologist and Appraiser who also assists customers with custom design jewelry projects. You’ll also occasionally see her in the store working alongside her two daughters, Nikki and Margaux.
